i think the only reason why i haven’t covered any daily refrain songs yet is simply because i have been far too lazy to copy the lyrics out of the youtube videos for myself
thank you and you can probably expect something from me at some point
if your new site will be accepting covers????
@Dennis
Well, I’ll be accepting covers – whether they go here or on the new site (or both), I haven’t decided. That’s a good point about the transcribing, though. You’ll notice I’ve also transcribed the spoken-word moments (which were improvised) – this was so I could run the file through http://www.wordle.net to see which words I use the most. The answer surprised me. I was going to post my favourite word clouds here, but the truth is they all looked beautiful and I couldn’t bring myself to choose favourites. This is my current desktop, though.
Man, I’m way behind on these. This helps a lot though, because it’s much easier to listen to music on my ipod at work than it is to sit in front of youtube. :]
Gwilym you should post official cover art for this compilation of mp3s, such that I may add it to rateyourmusic.com and bring further attention to you. You whore.
@soudou
It’s an idea, though if I were to do that I’d probably want to make it a best-of collection. Or perhaps I could do a double album and a best-of.
Just clapping one time! Never see song!
Trippy desktop… That’s pretty cool.
