#16: “The Lateness”

Usually I’m good about replying to e-mail, but sometimes I’ll take between a million years and an eternity to respond – and it’s almost always for the exact same reason. This song is for those who have suffered this terrible fate.
I’m sure that someday I’ll get over this whole ’super-dramatic song about trivial thing’ schtick, but that day is not today.
“THE LATENESS” TRIVIA:
1. It started off sounding like this.
2. I am incapable of singing the word ‘contrite;’ for some reason it came out as ‘chastised’ every single time.
3. “The Lateness” is the only Daily Refrain song with a trivia section.
these trivia’s certainly put an interesting spin on this entire operation. also this song eerily describes my own email habits and is prompting me to fix them. but what does the future yield? will it ever change? perhaps, time will tell….
